These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the PocketGuide.Ai mobile application and website (together, the "Service"), operated by PocketGuide.Ai ("we", "us", "our"), a company based in the United Kingdom.

By downloading, accessing or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under 18, you confirm that a parent or guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.

You must provide accurate account information and keep your login details secure. You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account.

PocketGuide.Ai provides AI assisted travel storytelling, landmark recognition, walking routes, live events discovery and related features. Content is generated or curated for informational and entertainment purposes.

We aim for accuracy, but historic narratives, opening hours, event listings and directions may contain errors or become outdated. Always exercise your own judgement, especially when travelling, crossing roads, or visiting unfamiliar places.

Some features require a paid plan: the Day Pass (£4.99 for 24 hours) or Monthly Premium (£9.99 per month). Prices are shown in the app and may vary by region. Payments are processed through the Apple App Store, Google Play or other authorised payment providers.

Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period through your store account settings. Free trials convert to paid plans unless cancelled before the trial ends.

Refunds are handled according to the policies of Apple, Google or the relevant payment provider, and applicable UK consumer law.

You agree not to:

• Misuse the Service or attempt to disrupt its security
• Reverse engineer, scrape or copy our models, data or content
• Use the Service for unlawful, harmful or harassing purposes
• Rely on the Service as a substitute for professional advice (medical, legal, safety or otherwise)

The PocketGuide.Ai name, logo, app design, software, AI models and curated content are owned by us or our licensors. You receive a limited, non exclusive, non transferable licence to use the Service for personal, non commercial travel and exploration.

You retain ownership of content you submit (for example feedback). By submitting it, you grant us a licence to use it to operate and improve the Service.

Certain features need access to your camera, microphone, location or motion sensors. You can withdraw permissions in your device settings, though some features may then stop working.

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by UK law, we exclude warranties that the Service will be uninterrupted, error free or always accurate.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be limited under English law. Subject to that, our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or £50 if you have not paid.

You may stop using the Service at any time and delete your account in the app or by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or if we discontinue the Service.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified in the app or on the website. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer rights you may have in your country of residence.
